30 Day Movie Challenge - Day 06 - Favorite made for TV movie
I was going to pick Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style, until my lady reminded me that the Battlestar Galactica relaunch is considered a TV movie.
If you’ve followed this blog (or my twitter) in the past few years, you’ve read about how much I loved this show enough. Here’s a search of the blog for Battlestar if you are at all interested in knowing how much I frakking loved this show.
A far second would be The Temptations movie that details the lives of the many men who would be called Temptations.
Its an interesting movie that, thanks to VH1, I’ve seen a thousand times. It chronicles the band’s early days in Detroit, to getting signed, to going to tour, to falling apart over and over and over and over again. Its a bummer of a movie to tell the truth, but enjoyable nonetheless.
And then Nick Lowe at Marvel phones up to see if you’ve got anything and you find yourself pitching a grim political post-BATTLESTAR GALACTICA take on Rocket Raccoon. And then he tells you that someone else is already doing Rocket Raccoon, because the situation is just that bloody awful.
And now I wait.
It took about 6-7 hours, but Shannon and I are now fully caught-up on Battlestar Galactica, including the three new episodes from this season.
I was very, very surprised and a bit heart broken at some of the events at the end of Season 3, but I’m enjoying season 4 so far.
Let’s take a moment to talk about laundry room etiquette.
1) Put some clothes on. I understand its laundry and all of your top shelf outfits are likely to be put into the machines, but that doesn’t allow you to be in pajamas for everyone to see. You are not in college anymore. You are an adult. Its not cool, fun, or cute to walk around our shared space in your slippers.
2) Get your shit out. This is an easy one. Be there when the machine with your clothes is done. Don’t make me wait for you. Moreover, pull your clothes out— don’t make me watch you pull your clothes out one by one, folding them into a bag, while I wait with a pile of wet clothes. It’s rude as hell.
Galactica Ends, Caprica Begins
Prequel to “Battlestar Galactica” has started filming. Season 4 starts next month! W00t!
