Couple of notes
I’ve always hated how slowly comments loaded on my page, so I’ve messed around with the code to try and fix that. If you can, please pay attention to how the blog loads, and let me know if there is anything goofy happening and if the comments are loading more quickly.
I’m also cleaning up the post information below a post, by moving the tags area to a posts page. On the main page, they won’t appear, but they will show if you click through a post to see its notes. Let me know what you think. If my analytics are to be believed, no one uses the tags anyway to find material on the site.
Lastly, post pages now have navigation links so you can move between posts without going back to the main page.
And that’s how you waste a Saturday night.

It occurs to me that there hasn’t been very much substance on this blog in some time. I’m starting to think my blog sucks. I think I’ve been scared to drop an opinion on anything ever since the royal smackdown I received a few weeks back.

I added some new styles to the Notes and Comments area on each post, giving each slightly more distinction. Please let me know if it looks like garbage.

How about this theme for my blog?
I might play with the colors abit, and I don’t know how I’d work in comments, but what do we think of this?
My theme sucks ass and I hate it, but I don’t have the patience or inclination to mess with right now.
If anyone has suggestions or past themes they liked please let me know. I’m out of steam on this.

A note about comments
So JS-Kit, the service I use for comments on the blog here, must have recently changed some shit, because these gray boxes all over the site? That ain’t me.
Comments, in the future, may be put in the post’s permalink page and not on the main madthoughts page. If this sounds like crazy talk, check out Shannon’s blog and click on the “Comments” link under each post for an idea of what I am talking about.
