If you rock an iPhone or iPad, and you dig Angry Birds, I think you’ll love World of Goo. I played the hell out of it when it originally appeared on the Wii a few years back, and I think it’ll translate wonderfully to a touch format. While I don’t know for sure, I highly predict it’ll be worth the few bucks.

3 Techie Things I’m Excited About in February and Other Stuff in My Life
- HP and Palm’s Think Beyond event. New hardware announcements should come forth, and fingers cross, WebOS 2.0 should be released to existing devices. Feb. 9th.
- Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Deadpool, Thor, and Viewtiful Joe are all playable and Galactus is the big boss. Awesome. Feb. 15th.
- Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego will become a Facebook game. I dumped a few hours into Carmen Sandiego back in the day, and hey, who doesn’t love geography trivia? Feb. 9th.
At work, we are launching a brand new website and community that we’ve developed completely in-house— no outside help or platforms. I’ll be sharing my thoughts about it once it launches. It’s very exciting and I think very groundbreaking (and risky) for a non-profit.
There’s our annual 3-day work retreat in there too. I’ll be speaking at that and, if history repeats itself, I’ll have to do some level of performing as well.
Later in February, I’ll also be hosting a workshop at the Life After AmeriCorps Conference on navigating social media.

*UPDATE* Glad to see they are using one of my favorite Marvel cliche’s: the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier crash.

But what they’ve got up for Dead Space - thoroughly optional armor and weapon bundles - borders on the bizarre. The game already has suits out the ass. It even unlocks more armor in another fucking game. This isn’t “must see DLC.” This is like getting a tiny fork for your fork, so that it too may have a fork.
Penny Arcade - My Friend Wyrmidon
This quote comes Penny Arcade’s impressions of a video game I don’t care about, but I thought it was a really clever turn of phrase.

Defense Contractor Not Really Sure What Sort Of Weapon It Just Built
This reminds me of the first levels of Superman 64. Or Pilotwings on SNES.

Couple things here:
- I’m finally gonna have a reason to turn on my Wii
- Supposedly, Bond uses a Palm Pre in this game.
- This is a remake of the N64 classic.
- We didn’t have the term pwn back in the day, but ask any mother fucker you know, I pwn’d ALL GODDAMN DAY at this game. That’s not hyperbole kids. This was my shit and no one could take m in it.
- Okay, there was one guy who could best me, but I think our rate was 60-40.
