I came home to a huge pile of comics and after reading I just had to come on and tell you all that Wolverine and the X-Men is my new favorite comic. Each issue has had a big ol’ pile of fun. It’s one of those books that reminds me why I love comics and I can’t recommend it enough.
In Avengers and New Avengers, Brian Michael Bendis continues to write entertaining, character driven stories about Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Norman Osborn is plaguing both teams and both books have been entertaining, especially after the boring run of Fear Itself tie-ins. One thing, Daniel Acuna’s artwork is not working on this book. At all. Not even a little. It didn’t work for me on Amazing Spider-man either. I really hope he goes away.
Justice League #4 was good. Miles Morales’ origin is finally finished in Ultimate Spider-man. Catwoman continues to be a fun read.
Wolvies and Jubes.
I love this. Maybe I’ll start scanning my books for my favorite panels and pages. Should I start a separate comics blog?

Wolverine and Deadpool.
i love me some Skottie Young!!
I love it when artists actually draw Wolverine as short. He’s only supposed to be 5’3”. I think it was during Age of Apocalypse, when his book was called Weapon X, someone called him out on his attitude. His response was something like, “that’s what happens when your short, hairy, and unloved.”

Wolverine by Chris Bachalo.
0947. Wolverine v2 #67, March 1993, written by Larry Hama, penciled by Mark Texeira
My Score: 7.7
Few people draw Wolverine better than Mark Texeira. Texeira is also the only person who can draw a good Ghost Rider.
